Disclaimer about Honed and Matte Finish Tiles: It is not always possible to achieve a 100% matte/no reflection finish on a surface such as glazed porcelain. Depending on the production batch, the final result is a finish between matte and polished.
We highly recommend ordering sample swatches before making a large order. We will not accept any claim or pay for return shipping costs due to the tile's finish not being acceptable to a customer who has not previously ordered a sample of the same product.

FAQs

What is the thickness of the Black Matte Porcelain Mosaic Tile 1×1?

The tile is mounted on a 12″×12″ sheet and is approximately 6 mm thick, typical for matte porcelain mosaics.

Can I separate the 1×1 tiles from each other, or are they fixed?

These tiles are mesh‑mounted, so the individual 1×1 pieces are held together on a sheet and are not meant to be separated; removal will damage the layout.

Can I use grout between the tiles, or is the white between them permanent?

You can grout this tile. The “white” between tiles is actually thin‑set or mortar substrate, so once installed grout will fill the joints as normal.

What does “honed” mean in the product description?

“Honed” refers to a finish that is matte but with very slight sheen or reflection. It’s smoother than matte but not glossy, giving a balanced appearance.
