I am looking for ship wood interlock tiles that has a bit of color. I see a few sample, do you have linear tiles with more colors? The ones I have looked up seem to be clear coated to bring out the colors of the old ship wood. I am looking to buy enough to cover a 10ft wide by 5 ft high and hopefully buy in the states. 1. Can the backing be removed and this tile glued to the top of a porcelain tile wall in a bathroom?2. Do you have any photos of this in an installation?3. I'm thinking of using this as a wall border against the ceiling. Would the top edge be trimmed straight in order to do this? How would the bottom edge be laid--can a good tile person cut the field tile in a curve to match it?4. What type of grout would you recommend?5. I am interested in installing these linear panels around a gas fireplace and in doing so, some of the straight cut panel edges will be exposed on the sides. I'm wondering if I cut these - will the color stay consistent throughout the piece or will the cut edges be obviously lighter and less weathered? View answer
